MP backs biodiesel tax break campaign

Liberal Democrat MP Andrew George is backing a project to keep tax breaks for companies who produce biodiesel.
Producers converting cooking oil into biodiesel currently take advantage of a 20p differential however that is because of end next April.
The St Ives MP, who leads the Lib Dem Environment Team, has been meeting with the biodiesel alliance.
Mr George said "a variety of little services in Cornwall presently generate income from used cooking oil".
He included: "In order to have the ability to get this sort of market going it does require just a bit of lift which can be found in the form of tax inescapable."
Biodiesel is a mix of conventional diesel, rapeseed and vegetable oils.
